Here is a photo of 154's slightly older brother, ANH 153, undergoing a tilt test in 1947 but the location is unknown. The angle of dangle (so to speak), as displayed on the protractor bolted to the front of the vehicle, is a jaw-dropping 35° and yet the safety ropes are still slack. Mind you, I don't think it would be wise to stand underneath the over-hang. The po-faced officials don't seem too impressed though. In the light of this, it should be safe enough to take 154 for a spin around Brooklands! (Thanks to Mike Edmunds for this piccy)
